Moon Art Kickstarter Project – Success – Thanks to you!

moon art Kickstarter project, closing soon

Dark of the Moon: A Journey Beyond Expectations

When I began this celestial project, I couldn’t have imagined where it was going and the terrain it would go through. Starting with my own personal exploration of celestial landscapes traveled through the trials of Hurricane Helene’s flooding and ripened into a creative experience that speaks to resilience, beauty, and connection.

More Than Just Numbers

767% funded might seem like a statistic, but it represents something far more meaningful. Each contribution is a conversation, a moment of shared understanding. It’s about recognizing the power of art to bridge personal experience and collective emotion. It’s a part of my mission of putting real art into the hands of real people in the real world – The Art in Hands Project.

The Final Moments

The Kickstarter closes Saturday evening, March 29th. If you’re thinking about it:

  • Original mixed media paintings capturing celestial landscapes
  • Handcrafted zine revealing studio insights
  • Unique bonuses including hand-painted bookmarks, Artist Trading Cards and one-of-a-kind monoprints
  • A chance to hold a real piece of art from this lunar-inspired journey

Studio Update

I’m in the studio with creativity in full motion. The bookmarks are complete, the Artist Trading Cards are taking shape, and those special gel plate monoprints are in the unfolding stage. I’m personally invested in each piece so that it carries the energy of making – imperfect, unique, alive.

Reflecting the Light

This version of the project emerged from a time of profound difficulty – the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The storm interrupted the original launch date and I had lost the heart to continue with it. But, time passing worked its magic and the coming of a mountain spring brought me to a new, and fresher, viewpoint. This particular is my personal testament to the creative spirit’s ability to find beauty in uncertainty, to create meaning from disruption and to stand on solid ground again.

Art isn’t about perfection. It’s about capturing moments, emotions, and experiences. It’s about showing up, creating, and sharing – even when (especially when) the world feels unpredictable. I would be so honored and grateful to have you come with me as this project closes.
