New from my studio: The “Art in Hands” Project!
I’ve been working on a new idea: my Art in Hands project. Check out this recent post about human art and AI, to learn more about what I’m doing to put more real, human-created art into as many hands and lives as possible in whatever form that might take 😊
Art in Hands Project: The Studio Visit
These pieces are from the Abstract Floral series, which is also the focus of my Kickstarter project (more on that below). They’ve found homes through my Studio Visit Program.
This program gives structure and substance to the art experience. Here’s how it works: You visit my studio, choose a piece from what’s on display, I professionally mount it, and it’s yours! While I don’t charge for these pieces, you’re investing time, energy, emotion, and connection in the process, which makes it a fair exchange for me.
My studio is a bit remote—out in the country, walking up a long driveway—so getting here is an adventure. Choosing and waiting for your piece to be mounted makes the experience surprisingly personal and connective, embodying the essence of the Art in Hands project.
The Floor Show
I’m back to painting on canvas after a cycle on paper and have a new piece to share. I’m calling this section “The Floor Show” because I literally throw the canvas on the studio floor and take a picture. Some of these pieces might be listed for sale, become part of the studio visit program, or be released into the world in other ways.
Don’t Miss the Kickstarter Project
The Abstract Floral Zine Kickstarter project is going great—thanks to your generous support! As a thank you, I’ve added a unique ATC (Artist Trading Card) hand-painted in the series’ color scheme to every physical mailing.
The project is fully funded, so rewards are definitely going out! If you haven’t joined yet, I’d be honored if you did. But hurry—it’s closing on July 28!

P.S. If you could share the project with someone who’d like it, I’d really appreciate your help 💫
