In Summer 2025, I created a self-directed artist residency to explore memory, identity, and the quiet influence of early experiences. Using printmaking and layered drawing, I followed a simple thread: letting marks and images evolve without a fixed outcome.
This page gathers the final works, process images, and reflections from that focused studio time, a summary visual record of what emerged.
I’ve collected the output of this residency into a 25 page digital project folio – a curated look at the finished work, process images, and my reflections. You’re welcome to download and explore it freely.

Reflections
This project reminded me how powerful a simple structure can be. Working inside the container of a residency that I chose and shaped on my own, there was both clarity and creative freedom.
The images in this series mark a return to my earliest memories: the small house where I spent my childhood. Through repeated symbols of stars, doors, windows, and lines, I was able to distill the essence of that house and it’s meaning to me into a visual form. What began as an exploration of memory became a language of shapes, textures, and creative artifacts.
