This splashy pink and green typography print was inspired by Valentines Day!
It’s painted with just three colors that I love and use frequently: Permanent Rose, Sap Green and Paynes Gray. I like the vibrant colors from the pink and the green with the contrast of the mixed areas and the gray to tone things down.
I was aiming for an edgier look so chose a hard-edge stencil font and was a little more energetic with the splatters on the page while keeping the softness of watercolor in the edges of the letters. What do you think – did it work?
If you have a thought or a comment – drop me a note or comment. I’d love to hear from you!
