I’m excited to share my latest mixed media artwork with you – a star on an 8×8 cradled panel. This piece is part of a series I’m working on for an upcoming solo show this summer, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out.
One of the things that’s really important to me in my artwork is texture. I love exploring different materials and surfaces to create pieces that are tactile and engaging. For this piece, I used a mix of materials and techniques to create a distressed surface that adds depth and interest to the overall composition.
I think the texture and distressed surface really make this piece stand out – it gives it a sense of history and character that draws you in and invites you to take a closer look.
